During this partial referral, you can begin your coursework at your own pace. You'll cover essential theoretical knowledge through eLearning, then complete some confined water training with a local dive shop.

Once you arrive in Cabo San Lucas, you can jump right into the next phase of your training without wasting any precious vacation time. Here, after a refresher of what you've learned so far, you'll complete the remaining open water dives under the expert guidance of our friendly PADI-certified instructors.

Once you've successfully completed your online coursework and confined water training at a dive shop in your local area, your instructor will provide you with a referral form or documentation.

With this referral in hand, you can then journey to Cabo San Lucas to finalize your scuba training. Here, guided by our team of experienced instructors, you’ll participate in the four open-water dives necessary for certification.

Once you've met all the certification requirements, your instructor will validate your training and issue your PADI Open Water Diver certification card.

Taking our PADI Open Water Referral Course provides you the flexibility to complete your initial scuba training in your local area and then finish open water dives in Cabo, providing you convenience and saving you a lot of time.

While we offer all the essential equipment you need for scuba diving, you are welcome to bring your own. Please note that this choice does not affect the pricing.
